I am a Social Work Candidate, and I have been supervised by Ashley for over three years. I received my MSW from Rutgers University. Much of my social work experience has been in the hospital setting, working with high acuity clients who exhibit suicidal ideation and are at risk of hurting themselves. I enjoy working with individuals who are new to therapy, recognizing the hardest step is often deciding to schedule an initial appointment with a therapist. This can be scary, overwhelming, or anxiety-provoking, and I hope to show new clients empathy and create a safe place for them to explore themselves. I work collaboratively with clients to help them identify strengths, needs, and healthy coping skills. My goal is to help clients find a path toward healing, hope, and stability. My focus is working with children, adolescents, and young adults (clients ranging from 10 to 25 years of age) who experience depression, suicidal ideation, self-harming behavior, anxiety, and trauma-related issues.
